Q: What is the purpose of this web site?

A: The LSH Art Gallery was erected as a tribute to the artists of the Legion of Super-Heroes, past, present, and future. Our goal is to eventually have a comprehensive representation of the artistic history of the Legion of Super-Heroes. We are not there yet, but we make progress on a weekly basis!

Q: How did the LSH Art Gallery come to be?

A: I have been familiar with the Legion of Super-Heroes since the early 80's, but I became particularly interested in the LSH during Zero Hour, when DC Comics "rebooted" the super-hero team of the future. In 1995 I began the foundation of what would eventually become the LSH Art Gallery. I focused my efforts on the comic books I had at hand, the post-reboot (postboot) issues, and the gallery grew to be the largest online collection of Legion artwork.
